September goals

Standard

I haven’t done a goal post before, but I’m really hoping that by doing one I will remember and actually attempt to get done the things I’d like to. I will start small, with only a few goals and build up from there.

1. Get a job, any job.
We need to be building up our savings faster than we are, and with a mortgage payment that is slightly higher than our current rent, it’s time for me to buckle down and accept anything that comes my way.

2. Spend $250 a month in groceries (about $60 a week).
Last time we figured this out, we determined that our monthly grocery budget was going to be $250. That seemed to be working well, so I’m going to try for that this month. This may be altered in future months.

3. Unpack, put away and purge if necessary.
This move is a fresh start, so I want to make sure I’ve gotten everything unpacked and donated what just doesn’t have a home.

4. Send out Idaho reception thank you cards.
I’m embarrassed to admit that this hasn’t been done yet. At least I got the thank you cards from January sent out!

5. Work out at least 3 times a week.

About Megg

I'm a 28 year old, newly married, newly living in Washington, librarian trying to find a job in a library. Meanwhile I'm working with kids and spend my afternoons playing Mancala and reading picture books. Come along for the journey as I share recipes, decoration ideas, photos, and hopefully gain some insight from the internet and fellow bloggers.
